The northern red anemone or dahlia anemone, Urticina felina, is a marine invertebrate living in the north Atlantic. It was once called Tealia crassicorni, Tealia felina, and Urticina crassicornis. These beautiful animals are filter feeders, and can move to a better location if needed, but generally stay put once they find a good spot with adequate currents. They reproduce both sexually and asexually by budding.
